Conference Room in The Center
March 17, 2016
Members Present: Matt Stucker, Fay Murphy, Dennis Theis, Stephan Schartz, , Berny Unruh, John Kelty, Father Warren. Visiting: Jim Mitchell
Matt called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Father lead members in prayer. The agenda and minutes were approved.
Old Business:
Matt reported he had visited with John about the council’s visit with the boy scout area council representative.
Jim Mitchell attended the council meeting to report on the PSR Commission. A letter was sent to all those originally contacted and the following have accepted a position on the committee: Jim Mitchell, Ben Ramsey, Kathy Hammeke, Stacy Sanger, Michelle Kelty, Kristy Mull and Krysten Watkins. The first meeting will be held after mass on Holy Thursday.
Dennis has been in contact with Carr Auction and the earliest date an auction could be set was June. The
council would like to propose Saturday June 4th for the auction. Dennis proposed we set up a tour with a
representative from Carr Auction present and have a representative from Tri-county and a
representative of the Altar Society present to help identify items that cannot be sold. A week day after
3:30 or 4 pm would be best since school would not be in session. Dennis will contact Carr Auction and
set up a date to tour the building.
It was suggested that some of the trophies could be set up in the Parish Center and offered for sale on a
silent auction.
Some of the items that have already been moved to be used in other places. The stove and refrigerator
are being used in the old parish office. The deep freeze will be used by the Knights of Columbus. The
chair dollies will also be used by the Knights. Some of the chairs and tables will also be used within the
parish and not sold.
The meeting concluded with members praying “Hail Mary”.
Next meeting will be April 21, 2016 @ 6:30 pm in the Parish Center Conference Room.
