              SACRED HEART PASTORAL COUNCIL MINUTES 

February 19, 2015 

6:30 pm

 Present:   Sister Rebecca Otter, Mary Perez, John Kelty, Michael Klemens, Phillip Hammeke, Bernie Unruh, and Father Warren Stecklein

 Excused Absence: Matt Stucker and Dennis Theis

 Opening:  The meeting was opened with a prayer led by Father Warren

 Minutes:   January 2015 Minutes were approved as presented.

Bernie Unruh was welcomed to the committee replacing Nicki Roof for the rest of her term.

Father gave a report on the Diocesan meeting and a plan that was developed for the gathering of funds for the new parish center.  Further discussion ensued.

There will be a public hearing at the city office for the zoning needs for the new parish center at 7:00 pm on March 5, 2015.  Anyone interested may attend.

Capital Campaign Committee Chairpersons are Tom Giessel and Mary Klinge

Communication Committee Chair person is Jeff Murphy

Children’s Committee chairperson is Shannon Fisher

Hospitality Committee Chairperson is Linda Lemuz

A prayer committee has also been developed

Honorary member of the committees are AW and Pat Schartz and Frank and Vi Prosser. 

Elections for parish committees will be held the weekend of either May 9 or 16

Next meeting will be March 19, 2015 @ 6:30 pm
