SACRED HEART PASTORAL COUNCIL MINUTES
Thursday June 19, 2014
6:30 pm
Present: Fr Warren Stecklein, Mary Klinge, Sister Rebecca Otter,
Mary Perez, Barbara Hammond, Mark Brantley, Dennis Theis, and Matt Stucker
Excused Absence: Nicki Roof, John Kelty, Phillip Hammeke, and Michael Klemens.
Opening: The meeting was opened with a prayer led by Fr. Warren.
Minutes: May 15, 2014 Minutes were approved as presented.

Matt offered a thank you to Barbara Hammond and Mary Klinge for their service on the committee. All their help and contributions were greatly appreciated.
Elections;
Elections will not be held until the July meeting because a quorum was not present.
School Building
The Mark Davey group was the group selected to assist our parish regarding how the old school building issues will be managed. They are sending a contract for us to review and study.
On July 2 the project committee consisting of Tim Schaller, Janice Heit, Tom Giessel, David Zecha, Jim Mitchell, Lauren Long, Leon Sanders, Don Jensen, and Phillip Hammeke will meet and Tim Schaller’s place to begin brainstorming.
By-Laws:
Mary Klinge presented changes for review and these will be sent out for vote. When approved Matt will send to Pam for finalization.
Barbara moved to accept and Matt seconded the motion.
Stewardship Council:
This is a new committee established and members are:

Next Pastoral Council Meeting is set for July 17, 2014
